30 Year 10 students braved the rain to tramp into Living Springs from Victoria Park.

The annual Year 10 Camp was another resounding success despite a very wet first day.  Once the soaked students arrived and set up camp, in trying conditions, the kids went off and started the activities.  Over the 3 days the students experienced tree climbing, abseiling, archery, team building initiatives, pool challenges, slip’n’slide, monorail, camping, the Burma Trail, campfires, roasted marshmallows and banana-wakas.

Thursday’s weather was decent enough for a day at Rapaki Beach where they learnt kayaking, clambered around the rocks, did bombs off the jetty and had general beach fun.

Thanks go the Living Springs staff, Horomaka Staff, Dave from SYC and the Year 12 Leaders.
