Making the most of their summer holidays, a number of students from the Northern Hemisphere experienced life at Hillmorton at the beginning of Term Three.
The beginning of Term Three is always a busy time for international students at Hillmorton. At the beginning of the term we welcomed Chaojie (Jacky) Kang, Junxi (Hugo) Su and Litong (Ben) Shu from China, Eloi Delahaye, Nina Blancfuney and Nicolas Ruau from France, Natalie Nikolov from Germany, and Akira Kobayashi, Hiroyuki Tajima and Koshi Oe from Japan as short term students.
Staying for a range of four weeks through to one term, in addition to life at school, the students have experienced a range of activities and events ensuring they took a varied collection of memories home with them.
Speaking with them, they mentioned a day at Mt Hutt skiing and snowboarding, a trip to the International Antarctic Centre and a kai pie afternoon as being highlights. They were also impressed with the scope of subjects that they could study here, and the kindness shown to them and the care taken of them by their host families.
