Hillmorton High School is a growing, diverse, and future-focused learning community where every ākonga is known, valued, and supported to flourish. Our culture is grounded in our values; Tūrangawaewae, Whanaungatanga, Ako and Mana. 

It is a privilege to serve as the 6th Tumuaki of Hillmorton High School and I am deeply committed to leading alongside our community. My leadership is grounded in empowering staff and students, listening first, and creating the conditions for people to grow.

Our growing kura reflects the rich diversity of Aotearoa, which brings with it a wide range of opportunities. Our curriculum, co-curricular activities and commitment to student wellbeing are designed to foster academic progress while also nurturing curiosity, creativity, identity, and individual passions. This is made possible by our highly skilled and dedicated staff, whose commitment, care and expertise create the conditions for every learner to succeed. Whether in the classroom or through the arts, sport, technology, service and leadership, our ākonga are supported to find pathways that allow them to succeed and belong.

We have an exciting future ahead of us at Hillmorton High School yet we make sure to honour our past while looking forward – ka muri, ka mua. Guided by our values and commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, we continue to strengthen a culture of inclusion, equity, and connection.
