Meet the team

Dedicated and Caring

We have a dedicated team to support you before, during and after your time at Hillmorton High School. As a small team, in a small city school, we know our students well. We take pride in our individualised knowledge of you along with the pastoral care we provide.
International Director

Pam Hunt

International Director

Kia ora.

I have been at Hillmorton High School for many years and enjoy the school and its environment. I look forward to welcoming you to Hillmorton and supporting you throughout your association with us. I am passionate about my job and use my experience of language teaching and learning, and living and studying overseas to guide me in my work.

I get pleasure from travelling and learning about new cultures, and in my spare time I like to walk, cycle, read, watch movies, and spend time with family and friends.

Homestay Coordinator

Michele Carston

Homestay Coordinator

My role is to find suitable host families for our international students, along with providing support to students and families.

I love travelling and meeting people from different countries. My husband, three children and I have lived overseas and most recently in Bahrain for six years.  In my spare time I like to do furniture restoration, cooking and spending time with my family.

Teacher

Katherine Bennett

Teacher-in-Charge of English Language (EL/ESOL)

I enjoy teaching and meeting students here at Hillmorton High School. During the 17 years I have been at the school, I have taught Senior and Junior English and English as a second language.

When I am not at school, I enjoy watching movies, biking, working in the garden and spending time with my family and friends. I also like traveling and learning about other countries so it is a pleasure to have students come here and share their culture with us.
