Fire Tiger into Rockquest FINALS!
We are proud to announce that school band Fire Tiger have made it into the
Smokefree Rockquest Regional Finals!!!
The band members of Fire Tiger are Sofia Kyle, Ava Palmer, Atlantis Woo, Zeta Palmer and Ben Cumberpatch. Fire Tiger had heaps of stage presence and their song was awesome.
Sofia thought that “Rockquest was such an amazing experience, and we had a really great time! We’re incredibly proud and excited to represent our school at finals, and can’t wait to give it our all! Thank you to all the supporters who came to watch us perform. Your support means so much to us!”
Ava agreed, “It was so cool getting up on the Rockquest stage and playing our own song. We played really well and had the best time!”

Fire Tiger competed in the heats last weekend along with Wax Wings (Jairus, Joash, Junior) and Shaking Six – a collaboration of two students from Hillmorton, Christchurch South Intermediate, and Addington Primary.

An updated re-tellng of A Midsummer Night’s Dream
Support our seniors at this fun re-telling of Midsummer Night’s Dream using a modern setting, contemporary language and humour. The fairies have cellphones, Hippolyta has a wedding planner and Bottom & Co are a group known as the Unemployed Workers Drama and Cultural Club.
The story unfolds as Shakespeare wrote it but with a difference!
Doors open 6:30pm for 7.00pm show Tue 23 June, Wed 24 June, Thu 25 June.
