DUX and WOOLHOUSE SCHOLAR
Megan Outram
A Gold Colours recipient for Service to the School, Megan won this award for service to Sport, Stage Challenge and the school in general. Megan was also a House Leader in 2010 and captain of the Girls’ Football team.
Co-chair of the Senior Council, Megan was also a Zonta Awards Finalist for “Most Outstanding Contribution to a team by a young sportswoman”.
This multi-talented young woman also was awarded the school’s top award, the Woolhouse Scholar for the student who best exemplifies commitment to the school goals of Academic Excellence; Celebrating Culture and Diversity and Leadership and Independence.
Thomas Loan
Gaining first placings in Mathematics with Calculus, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Classical Studies, Thomas was awarded for his efforts, “Dux of the School, 2009”.
As a member of the School Council and a House Leader for Mahuika/Fire, Thomas has contributed much to the life of the school.
Thomas has plans of being a Research Scientist subsequent to his university studies and we wish him all the best for his future studies and career.
