SPORTING OPPORTUNITIES
There are a large number of sporting activities ranging from traditional team sports through to opportunities for students to excel in their individual pursuits. Many students are participating at club, provincial and national level in their chosen sport. A number of staff are also accomplished sports people – some at international level. Currently, two members of our Physical Education Department are in New Zealand representatives in their chosen codes.
Sport is supported by a Sports Co-ordinator and a large number of coaches, managers, umpires, parents, community and supporters are involved each week. There is a high expectation that students involved in sport will achieve to their potential and live up to the school motto of “Personal Best, Nothing Less”.
