Te Puna Matauranga : Thelma Easton Library 

With a collection of approximately 11,000 resources and Internet access, the library supports both students and staff in gathering information and recreational reading. Students are encouraged to become competent researchers and self-reliant learners.

Computers

At Hillmorton High School there are several computer suites, and several departments have pods of machines. Students can learn to use a variety of applications on Apple Macintosh and PC platforms. An internet service (e-mail and limited web access is available to students), database access, and a number of other services are readily available.

The use of computers is integral to teaching and learning; for example in the teaching of Languages, Computer Aided Design, Social Sciences, Mathematics and Art.

The majority of classes have access to data projectors.
